Don't you DARE try to by my love for the Constitution

 Platforms - Pompousness - Parsimonious

Now there is a lead in title. For me it describes the Trump campaign.
I'll beging my rant with...

Parsimonious... When Elon Musk offers $1M dollars for people to sign a petition to support the 1st & 2nd amendment
>what is that really for? To me its grandstanding.
>why isn't he giving money to the men & women who SWORE an OATH to uphold the ENTIRE constitution?
>why does he think Americans need to be PAID to sign a petition that they have lived as a country and without his help for almost 250 years?
> aren't the other 25 amendments worthy? Especially the "Bill of Rights" - the 1st 10?

Pompous - yes, he is to think our love of country and Constitution can be bought. He flashes his money like a John looking for a good time out and PAYS us to sign his petition. Those who take that money (IMO) have established what they are and next he'll be dickering on price. I wonder how low some of them may go. As a Veteran and the father of a Veteran I am shaken to the core that he treats our greatest document like it's for raffle.

Platform - someone asked me why I vote for the individual versus a party platform. Simple. Platforms - both figurative and literal are built by people. Its ability to support those for which it was built is a reflection of the builders Intent, Skills, and Character. Are they CRAFTSMEN or CONMEN. The platform is only as good and will stand only as long as those who built it. IMO the Trump and Republican platform is built on promises not kept his first term and - for me - too many indications he will not should he get a second term.

All of this is of course my opinion - yours may vary - but I don't want a demeaning, arrogant, divisive lying team who think they can sell me bibles, shoes, trading cards etc. then pay me to support that which I FREELY swore to uphold and die for 50 years ago. To me that platform is made of weak material - and has no substance.

Thanks for Listening
